Abstract

Abstract. Marketing strategy is very important for companies where the marketing strategy is a way to achieve the goals of a company. So this final report is prepared by selecting the title “Baygon product marketing strategy at PT Bintang Suryasindo Cabang Palembang”. This research is based on a strategy that can be said to be effective and appropriate in choosing a marketing strategy that will bring a positive impact for the company. in the preparation of this final report the author uses the marketing mix which includes 4P (Product, Price, Place, dan Promotion). The author carry out descriptive anapysis method implemented by collecting and clarifying the file which is gained in detail to discuss the marketing strategy of product strategy, price, promotion and distribution. This research conducted in PT Bintang Suryasindo Cabang Palembang. This research is conducted in as a distributor of household and health prodcts which is a dstrbutor of dari PT Bayer Indonesia to distribute Bayer products in a Palembang by using appropriate and effective marketing strategies the company will be able to compete and can increase sales volume. In this case Baygon mosquito repelent has a very tight competition with similarproducts can compete with the strategy that has been done this company proved with fulfillment needs of the community from the lower class to class top namely by marketing the product Baygon burn, spray and electrick.
