Abstract

This social media promotion design training for songket weaving craftsmen Cek Ipah aims to design social media facebook as a promotional media. Facebook social media is a social media that can be used as a promotional medium for products because it has various features that support promotions such as marketplaces. The results of designing advertisements on the Facebook market place carried out on Songket Cek Ipah craftsmen can reach a wider market in terms of promoting their business so that they can attract customers to buy songket sold by songket Cek Ipah online. This training activity uses a direct practice method in operating Facebook social media using the market place as a promotional medium, especially in creating and posting advertisements for the latest songket Cek Ipah products so that they can always be seen by consumers. songket Cek Ipah is also expected to maintain consistency and be more responsive in answering messages from consumers online. After the training, the songket Cek Ipah craftsmen were able to post 10 advertisements for songket Cek Ipah products.
