This researcher focuses on how the Palembang Traditional Food Promotion Strategy is to Increase the Number of Visitors at Pindang Meranjat Jakabaring Palembang Restaurant. The purpose of this study was to find out the promotional strategy carried out by Pindang Meranjat Jakabaring Palembang Restaurant and to find out the impact of the promotion strategy in increasing the number of visitors at Pindang Meranjat Jakabaring Restaurant Palembang. The method used by the author is descriptive/qualitative method, literature study method and interview/observation method. Where the author will make observations, review and write data by making direct observations of the field and conducting questions and answers directly to the owner of the Pindang Meranjat Jakabaring Palembang Restaurant, complemented by primary data and secondary data in the form of data obtained directly from the restaurant. The results of this study are that the promotion strategy used is also inseparable from the promotion mix used, namely using promotions through brochures, newspapers and advertising.
