Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web Menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman PHP Versi 7.3.5 pada Politeknik Kent Bogor

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based academic information system to address the issues of manual academic data processing at Kent Polytechnic Bogor. The system is developed using PHP version 7.3.5 and MySQLi as its database. The research applies descriptive and action research methods in the analysis and design stages. The results show that the proposed system significantly improves the efficiency of data input, processing, and retrieval, as well as enhances the security and accuracy of academic records. Additionally, the system is accessible online, supporting better academic administrative operations.
