PROSEDUR KEGIATAN PEMILIHAN BUJANG GADIS PALEMBANG (BGP) DI DINAS PARIWISATA KOTA PALEMBANG

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the procedure for selecting bachelor-girls in the city of Palembang. The benefit of this writing is to introduce more regional tourism activities in the city of Palembang, namely the selection of bachelor girls in the city of Palembang. The role of tourism ambassadors cannot be ignored by every region that has tourism and cultural potential which will be promoted through Bujang Gadis Palembang (BGP). The tourism ambassadors who are selected in the Bujang and Gadis election are expected to be able to become the driving force and be responsible for the development and improvement of the tourism sector in their area to assist the tasks of the Palembang City Tourism Office. By holding the Election of Bujang and Girls Palembang once a year in order to find talented and caring young people who are ready to channel the aspirations of the younger generation in the fields of tourism, arts and regional culture.
