Abstract

The role of villages in developing Indonesia, this research discusses the basis for the implementation of Indonesia's development starting from the village and who will carry it out, how to carry it out and who will oversee the implementation of the development so that it is right on target and not misused. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of villages in developing Indonesia based on Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. This research is an empirical legal research that is descriptive analysis. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The author uses primary data obtained by going directly to the field. While secondary data, the author uses primary legal material in the form of Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. Data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique in this research uses qualitative analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, the Village Head and Village officials generally have broad authority as the budget user power so that they are very vulnerable to irregularities in the use of village finances, so that in overseeing the implementation of the authority of the village head in managing village finances, finances, the village does not only require the ratification of the village consultative body but needs the approval of the village consultative body in overseeing the implementation of the authority of the village head in managing village finances, the active role of all levels of society, assistance by Village Facilitators, Sub-district Heads and the Community Empowerment Service in the Regency is very necessary in ensuring the running of development in the village in order to achieve the success of Village Building Indonesia.
